Well, it's been a long time. How have you been? So just a quick little update for you today so I can tell Madre that I sent an email out. • my first transfer here in Pietermaritzburg is coming to an end on Friday! • new mission President Laguna came in on Wednesday! • President De Kock completed his mission, he's such a good guy, man I love him and sister De Kock so much • I am going to be training yet AGAIN.  So, stay tuned for that 😉  • all my friends have gone home/are going home 😔  Funny story ! I woke up on Pday to the smell that can only be described as ... bleach fumes!  Elder Castillo (from Philippines) was being a kind soul and decided to mop the floor and ... the walls?  He was using bleach, and it didn't feel too good to breath in.  I think when my eyes started stinging was probably the time to skedaddle out of there ... but hey when we came back everything was as detoxed as much as it could be so maybe lung cancer < clean floors?  Lmk...

Hey guys I think it's been a minute since I've gotten one of these out to you, but I also can't remember... My Lil bro turned 16 on June 3rd, so if you're in the northern Las Vegas area I suggest staying off of the roads. Then a day later I got to celebrate my 19th bday out here by doing something really special... missionary work! And then the next day it was my comp's 21st birthday!  Jokes aside it was actually a really good week and somewhat of a mental turning point in my mission. Just 3 days after my birthday I reached 11 months of being a missionary and it really put things into perspective of how fast this time really does go. With just about a year left of being here, I had time to reflect on what I've done and what I still want to do.  It's something I'd encourage y'all to do as well - make a list of those things you want to accomplish and then GET TO WORK!  We put 4 people on date for baptism this week so that was a cool miracle. So yeah idk what happened last week but uh ... no email was even close to being written, so ngixolisa for that. This last week was pretty dope, I got the news that I'm leaving Berea 😭 I've been here for a PHAT minute so it might be nice to dip to a new area.  I'm now in a place called PMB 2, which stands for pietermaritzburg! I had to say goodbye to my beloved Toyota carolla.. she will be missed so much (this new car I'm in is slow as crap) Comp His name is Elder Herizo, he's from Madagascar! Fun fact, Herizo is his first name and the church somehow just goofed that up so he just gets called by his first name just like back home 😭 Also this week had lots of funny stuff happen but I ain't tryna type it all out. Tuesday: Zone conference! The conference itself was great, lots of promptings coming to me and gave me some time to do a self-evaluation and see what I need to refocus on. Met literally the coolest family ever, they came to church last week and said it's bc their friends in Zimbabwe referred them...members are the best missionaries. As we taught them about the Restoration, the mom just stopped us and said she knows it true because of the spirit she felt at church.
