Hello everyone, this email is coming out late bc my Pday was so so busy.  It's also gonna be pretty short bc I have a crazy headache. This Pday we went to a private waterfall ! It was on some land owned by members here in Hillcrest ward!  Their names are Brother and Sister Hill, they're so cool.  He actually served his mission here in South Africa with Brother Albright! Idk how many of you know them, but how small of a world is that a random family in the middle of South Africa, and they know people in Vegas. Anyway the "hike" down to the falls was more like a fall down to the falls.  The nonexistent trail was so slippery and had everyone falling on their butt.  Apparently some guy died there last week, but yolo I wanna see water falling off a cliff!! Once we made it to the waterfall it was absolutely amazing, closest I've ever been to swimming was standing under that thing and getting soa...

Lemme set the tone, Its dark, Sunday night, just got finished eating our 4th Dinner Appointment in a row, Alder was growing weary and started having visions of our beds.. you can imagine this is not exactly ideal for me... seeing how I am in the passenger seat at this time and can in no way control the Toyota Carolla from crashing and ca-rolling into the center median.  Luckily we make it through the drowsiness. As we went along the freeway with our dew covered windshield, we found out someone else was also probably a little sleepy and found himself just A-waltzing in THE MIDDLE OF THE FREEWAY, more specifically in the middle of our lane 😃  It was like an old Mexican bullfighter ripping away the red cape just before he got hit.  Now replace "bullfighter" with ✨️homeless drunk guy✨️ and "bull" with ✨️2018 Toyota Carolla!!!✨️ That man had a very near-death experience, and he probably didn't even know it.  In case anyone is wondering if this guy is just crazy... h...

So basically if you think of the 24 months of mission as the 24 hours on a clock, I'd be just starting the day at 7 in the morning.  Idk if that makes sense. But hello everyone. It's been a long time since I've written one of these things. There's been a lot going on and my mind doesn't have space to think about writing this, so I'm leaning towards the idea of I'll write an email each month.. idk 🤷‍♂️ There's a few weeks to cover so let's see what's been popping this side. Transfers!  I'm in a place called Berea, which is one of the only self-sufficient WARDS in this mission, yeah y'all see how it says ward, I'm not in a branch anymore.   I'm comps with Elder Alder and if you guys thought people here didn't understand my last name, this guy has been called "elder elder" his whole mission.   English can be hard lol.
