South Africa Saints

  So, for this week's email it's gonna be shorty, I'm tired. Hungry. Why is there never time for all the things?! Monday: Pday, we played basketball again. Womp womp. Tuesday: Can't really remember this day tbh. I guess I could probably look back at my journal 😉 Wednesday: Finished my 2nd journal, I write way too much every day. I also had exchanges with my zone leader. He’s not my fave. Thursday: We had district council, it was pretty nice, mainly bc I was away from my ZL lol. Friday:  Lots of people canceling appointments - that’s always a bummer. Saturday:   It was a friend's birthday, so we bought a cake and some yogurt for her bc she loves yogurt.  She was so excited and happy to see us. It's one of the parts of missionary work I enjoy the most. They served up the cake and poured the yogurt on top of the cake. That was a new way to eat cake 😳 Sunday: I had to speak, I thought it was just a quick 5-minute talk, then when your boy pulls up to church and Bra...

  This is gonna be a really long one, so get your glasses out. I really hope that the subject line caught your eye bc it's a pretty funny story. But more on that later, as for this week it was pretty kuhle. Ladysmith is awesome! I'll start us out on Pday, one of the best Pdays I've had on my mission, simply bc I'm in a new place so everything is a lot more exciting. We got a car wash bc we had zone conference the next day and Prez told me that our Nissan Magnite hadn't been washed in a while. Yeah, you heard me, a Nissan Magnite. I love the car so much! 😐 But in all honesty it is a blessing to have a car bc holy guacamole it's getting hot outside. But back to Pday. We played basketball which you can probably guess how that went. I swear every time I step on the court we go from playing basketball to keep away from Elder Cottrell bc he's trash. So now I just skip the embarrassment and sit out on the side. Later that night we had a sleepover with the Elders ...
