But let's move along to the creme de la creme of the email, shall we?  Tuesday Had a nice interview with Mission Prez and his wife. We talked for a while and I asked how I can limit my distractions so I can focus better, besides my mission leaders just telling me to "focus" and "just don't get distracted". We came to the conclusion that I should try a phone fast.  And yall it was so nice, I don't think we realize how little we actually need our phones, and how much they distract us and fill our time with less-important stuff. Yall should try and just do a social media fast for a day, ...

What's up? Uh, this week's e-mail. I am legit not writing it. Figured I would actually just do it on this fancy voice note thing.  Alright, let's start off Tuesday the 11th , we had lunch with one of our new members. Who is really, really racist. Yeah, I don't know. The Apartheid ended like in the 90s. Others, all the old people still are like - What was wrong with the old way of doing things? White people here are really funny. They would get cancelled so fast if they lived in the states.  Next we went to a shawarma shop to get some lunch and we're sitting there and we order. This crazy guy walks in and he starts just cussing out the guys. Like where's my fries? I can't say what he said because I'm a missionary. He's like, if you don't cook a lot, I'm going to kill everyone in the store. Then he turns around and looks at the two other people that are in the store and it's me and my companion. And then he came up to me and looking at me. ...

So uhh... Yeah I'm not actually getting a reassignment, but I needed clickbait and more importantly, my  homeboy Ethan Powell got his mission call to Mexico City! So beyond excited for him so I just had to give him a shoutout to the 3.5 people who read my emails! This week was honestly just crazy, so grab a DR. Pepper and enjoy being in America where your door locks actually do something.. and get a Lil taste of what South Africa had for me this week. Monday: bowling, mall, etc. Tuesday: This is the day I wrote last week's email lol.   The Zone leaders also surprised us with an exchange, I got to go to Mayville! It's one of those town/township areas, not the safest place in the world but... it's South Africa so really, it's safe just about nowhere. But Mom, don't you even worry, we didn't come that close to dying this week as we did last week! I call that Progress!!    Something I did witness today though was while we were in the Central Business District ...

Yet another email that is coming to you all way late, ngixolisa. This week was an interesting one for sure, it was pretty long but also the weeks just zoom by, mission time is really odd. Monday- went to a dope waterfall, I talked abt this in last week's email. Tuesday- had the most trash morning ever, pretty heartbreaking stuff but hey it's out of my control and in God's hands now. I said goodbye to 3 Elders who finished their missions today, one of them was American and his parents came to pick him up, they took us out to a fancy lunch (mcdonalds) And we started telling his parents some stories... and from the look of absolute horror and fear on his dad's face, I don't think his son really told him what goes on here lol. Wednesday- yet another morning that was rough, we were at district council and guess who walks in?
